Welcome to a five hundred year old, formerly abandoned Italian mountain village on the south side of the Alps in the Valle Antrona (Piedmont).
Since 1992, with a lot of idealism, visionary pioneering spirit and hard work, the residents have transformed the listed ruins into cozy homes and brought them back to life.
The houses of today's "Ambas Dham" were rebuilt by Madhuha and Bhakti Brünjes with the support of friends.
The power of the mountains enchants us in all seasons.......
